Document Management Comparison

Document Management is well-suited for managing revisions and providing workflow to approve changes.  Although these systems do more than Net-It Central, they are more complex and usually require project services contracts to configure and deploy.  Most deliver the native document file to the user's desktop to view, once there the Word, Excel or even PDF file can be edited/printed or emailed to others.

Net-It Central is not a database driven system. It publishes, indexes and shares released documents as part of a user's general intranet access. It helps intranet users to find documents―and even specific pages―quickly.
